Welcome to Kamchatka

Good afternoon! Let's get acquainted, my name is Ruslan.

If you came to this page, obviously, you are an adventurer and look for them, perhaps, in one of the most unique places on the planet - in Kamchatka!

All right, here is the great, mighty Pacific Ocean, and more than 300 volcanoes, 29 of which are active, and some of them are almost within walking distance, and many beautiful lakes, mountain rivers rich in fish.

There will be entertainment for every taste and at any time of the year.

In summer there is an opportunity to fish, both in the river and in the ocean at a depth of up to 600 meters, there is where to go rafting, there is something to visit on a quad bike or jeep. There are a lot of useful wild sources here, and you can not talk about the kinds that open from a height when flying on a paraglider or speedglider. Unique underwater world of the Pacific fascinates, whether hunting or freediving with sea lions "Steller sea lion".

In winter, you can climb a helicopter to the top of untouched mountains and go down from there on skis or snowboard, ride a dog sled, conquer one of the volcanoes on a snowmobile, dive into a wild hot spring in the open air, walk through the forest on real hunting skis, listen to the beast, retire with nature, to feel the soul of Kamchatka, to hear her call and enticing voice.

Those who have ever gone to the land of Kamchatka, remember this moment forever, many dream to return.

For more than 15 years I have been actively traveling, fishing, hunting in our country and inviting you to join my team! I, with pleasure, will become for you, a guide to this unforgettable world of impressions and adventures. Join now!

Nature of the region

Volcanoes of Kamchatka

There are a lot of sights in Kamchatka, but the most important and impressive is volcanoes. There are few places on the planet where you can see so many volcanoes at the same time.
Volcanoes of Kamchatka are an unforgettable sight. There are 29 active and many extinct volcanoes that occupy about 40% of the territory of the peninsula. By active volcanoes, it is meant not only active, emitting magma, but also exhibiting fumarolic activity. In general, during the historical period there were not so many eruptions, dangerous for people's lives. Volcanoes and territories around them are constantly changing, they are all so different that it captures the spirit.

The most popular and easily accessible volcanoes :
Caldera Uzon
Vachkazhets mountain range
Sharp Tolbachik volcano
Gorely volcano
Mutnovsky volcano
Avachinsky volcano

Pacific Ocean

The southeastern coast of Kamchatka is washed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean. As is known, the Pacific Ocean is not only the largest and deepest of the five oceans of our planet, but also the most ancient ocean of the world. Its dimensions are impressive: the Pacific Ocean is almost half the World Ocean and takes up a third of our planet. The underwater world of the ocean is the richest and most diverse. There are over 850 species of algae, over 6 thousand species of mollusks, over 100 thousand species of animals, of which more than 3,5 thousand species of fish. The diversity of the underwater world is almost 50% of all living organisms of the World Ocean. However, the nature of the Pacific Ocean has not been fully studied to the present day. Every year, scientists discover new species of animals and plants.

Most popular places to visit :
Bays Tikhaya, Grotovaya, Vilyuchinskaya, Zhirova, Russkaya, Bichevinskaya, the island of Satrichkov
A fisherman in the ocean at depths of up to 70 meters is likely to catch a link, flounder, mackerel, perch, cod, pollock, salmon, as well as trophy white halibut.
On deep water (up to 600 meters), usually comes the Pacific red perch (weighing up to 15 kg), macro, stingray, trophy cod (more than 10 kg), less commonly halibut or "arrow-toothed".

The most catchy places :
Cape Nameless (depth 10-40 meters)
Starichkov Island (depth of 10-35 meters)
Cape Dangerous (depth 25-70 meters)
Buoy Rotating (depth 25-35 meters)
Deep sea dumps (depth of 150-600 meters)
Bay Bečevinskaya (depth 20-70 meters)

Lakes of Kamchatka

You can talk a lot about the beauty of local lakes, while distinguishing from all stands, perhaps, the Kuril Lake.
This place needs to be seen with my own eyes.
Kuril Lake is a large caldera, inside of which there is a crater lake in the southern part of the Kamchatka Peninsula, in the territory of the South Kamchatka Federal Wildlife Refuge.
An area of about 77 square kilometers (the third largest of all the lakes of Kamchatka and the second among the freshwater lakes, second only to the Kronotsky lake), the average depth of 195 m, a maximum depth of 316 m. Meals snow and rain. On the north-eastern shore is the volcano Ilyinskaya hill. On the lake are several islands, the largest of which Samang (0.66 km²), Chayachy, Heart, Low and Clay. In the south, the cape Tugumynk flows into the lake, and Pulomink cape in the northwest. On the shore of the bay Tyoplya in the east of the lake there are outcrops of mineral hot waters. The shores of the lake are pebbly beaches, on which hills rise.
Several rivers and streams flow into the lake: Etamynk, Khakytsin, Vychenkia, Kirushutk. The Ozernaya River flows into the Sea of Okhotsk in the west.
The lake is the most significant spawning ground of sockeye salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka Walbaum) in Eurasia (and, possibly, in the world). The observation station of the salmon entering the lake and monitoring its fry is occupied by the observation station TINRO, which is located on the western shore of the lake. On the shores of the lake you can often meet a brown bear (a permanent livestock on the shores reaches 200 or more individuals).
The territory of the South Kamchatka Federal Wildlife Refuge, as well as the Kronotsky State Reserve, is included in the UNESCO Natural Heritage List in 1996 as part of Kamchatka Volcanoes.

Rivers of Kamchatka

There are more than 14 thousand rivers and streams in Kamchatka, of which the greater part has a length of up to 10 km and only 105 - more than 100 km. The Kamchatka River (758 km) and the Penzhina River (713 km) are sharply distinguished by their size. The average density of the hydrosystem is 0.77 km ², but there are areas with a density of less than 0.6 km². Despite the insignificant length, the rivers of Kamchatka are exceptionally deep-watered. The average long-term runoff on the peninsula has some of the highest values not only in the Far East, but also in the country in general. It is 1000 km³. The food among the Kamchatka rivers is mixed: they feed on groundwater by 55 to 56%, meltwater gives 35-40%, rains give 10%.
Due to the rapid flow and the absence of permafrost, almost all Kamchatka rivers in winter are partially or completely open.

Popular rivers for rafting and fishing -
The Bystraya River (Bystrinsky District, 134 km)
The river Zhupanov (150 km, a wild, inaccessible river, a helicopter ride)
The Bystraya River (Bol'sheretsky District, 275 km)
Opala River (160 km)

For fishing -
The Paratunka River (41 km)
The Plotnikov River (134 km)
The Bolshaya River (275 km)
The Avacha River (122 km)
The Bystraya River (Bol'sheretsky District, 275 km)

I recommend to visit

Easily accessible natural springs - Paratunka (thermal water)
Malki (mud puddles)
Ozerki (radon sources)
Halaktyrsky beach - an endless beautiful beach with black volcanic sand
Fish market at 6 km., or at the Komsomolskaya square
Steller sea lion rookery - Mokhovaya bay
Monument "Here begins Russia" on the outskirts of Elizovo
Monument to the holy apostles Peter and Paul in the center of Petropavlovsk
The target hill - a stunning view of the city and Avacha Bay

Crab fishing

Nikolai and Anastasia from Polar Murmansk region (June 2018)
Ruslan, thank you for your help in mastering the profession of crab (by the example of Strygun crab fishing) :))) )!!!
Everything was great and great, you are an excellent instructor and master of your craft! My wife and I have experienced all the subtleties and nuances in mining :)!!
Once again many thanks and success in tourism!!! Rest rest - wake up in Kamchatka, all to Ruslan, do not wish!!!!

Irina Chechetka (May 2018)
Just a delightful gift from the spouse for the 10th anniversary of living together)))!!! I advise everyone! Here and adventure and extreme and fishing - all in one! Now I know about all the subtleties of crab catching! Simply delightful: the ocean shore, light wine, sea delicacies .... mmmm.
At Ruslan everything is thought over to trifles! No hiccups and uncomfortable situations! Attention and care to the tourist! Everything was just wonderful! The weather did not fail, the crab too! Husband caught in a trap even a flounder! Sincerely grateful! Ruslan development and all the best! And we certainly still turn! Until next time!

Andrei, St. Petersburg (May 2018)
With Ruslan went on a boat trip along the bay and catch crabs. It was interesting not only to look at the process, but also directly participate in it.
We were lucky to open the season 2018 first and honestly we did not think that the catch would be so significant. For 2.5-3 hours leisurely fishing was produced MUCH crab snow crab. After unloading, the catch was cooked and the most pleasant moment began, its eating)). Part of the ready crab, by the way, went to St. Petersburg.
I can recommend Ruslan, as a person of an experienced, responsible and knowledgeable business. The level of organization is on top!

Daria, Moscow (September 2017)
My name is Daria, I'm 12 years old.
My dad and I flew from Moscow to Kamchatka on his work. The
Even at home he said that we will definitely go to the ocean to someone else. So it turned out, we swam twice in the ocean, but most of all I liked fishing for a crab. The
It was very tasty, but to eat it we first caught it, Uncle Ruslan ruled the boat and Dad set and got the traps. Once the pope took out a whole bunch of crab and there were still sea stars and snails. We let out the stars and small crabs too. Uncle Ruslan said that if we do not let them go they will be offended and will not be caught any more. The
Then we went ashore and started building a bonfire to cook crabs. They quickly began to boil and were very red. The
I used to eat crabs, but these were delicious, probably because they are fresh. The
While we cooked them I took a walk along the edge of the river, it's very beautiful there, near a rock, a bunch of birds and various gulls. We also ate snails, they got to us several times, they are delicious too. The
I really enjoyed our trip, the sea was calm and I learned to catch crabs. I told the class how we caught it, now everyone envies me. No one has such photos with terrible crabs. The
When my dad still goes to Kamchatka, I will definitely go too, I want to go somewhere else, it's very interesting, we have no such place in Moscow.
